Serena Williams says she listens to ‘Maniac’ from ‘Flashdance’ as a pump up song before matches

• Serena Williams said "Maniac" from "Flashdance" is on her pre-game pump-up playlist. 
• She added that Beyoncé's "THIQUE" will also be on her US Open playlist.
• Williams is gearing up for the US Open, which will presumably be the last tournament of her tennis career. 

Serena Williams said Michael Sembello's "Maniac" from the 1983 movie "Flashdance" is on her pre-game pump-up playlist. 

Speaking to the "Today" show, Williams revealed the songs that get her ready for the court.

In addition to "Maniac," Williams said "THIQUE" from Beyoncé's new album, "Renaissance," will also make an appearance on the rotation in her upcoming match.

Williams is gearing up for the US Open, which will presumably be her last appearance on the tennis court. 

Williams announced she is transitioning toward retirement earlier in August, and while she did not definitively say when her last match would be, she hinted toward ending her career with next month's Open.
